I am a pianist and composer. Currently, I'm interested in a variety of composers' music.

Often: Iannis Xenakis, Frederic Rzewski, Pauline Oliveros
Recently and unusually: Pierre Boulez, Milton Babbitt, Helmet Lachenmann
My research explores the composer, Henry Cowell (1897-1965) an innovator in the use of the piano as well as a teacher of John Cage. As a performer and composer, I am interested in all sounds that I find musical be they fists on a piano, pennies on a floor, or an orchestra yelling.
