In recent years spaces for artists to display their works have become increasingly scarce.

As a part of the community, and in an effort to show that the University values the intellectual and cultural contributions that art has to the foundation of every society, the Knapp House has offered its wall space, as the former governor's mansion, to support our local artists and their artistic endeavors.

These events enhance the positive view of the University, increase exchange between the University and community, and foster relationships that will enhance the lives of many through scholastic interpretations of art and the social commentaries that they pronounce.
